StifflerStealth, I have no problem maintaining the ebuilds via X-effects overlay, and will keep this alive.

I hope you can come back to Gentoo at some point.

If you want to provide me the core patches for the kickoff, I can work them into the overlay and test/validate against KDE 3.5.6.

KIP/Pertty has moved to xeffects overlay and the SUSE Kickoff menu integration has also been added.

So, for anyone looking for additional info please refer to the xeffects forums.
