Fantastic. On Libreelec, via ssh, you have to type "dmesg | paste" and it outputs the link to an already uploaded log! I forgot to say: if a cable is plugged in to the ethernet port, it doesn't show up as a network connection. The bogus IP only shows up if I plug it in.
On S812 under Libreelec, even the wired ethernet works. Didn't manage to figure out if it's actually gigabit, though.
