|
|
Well I think it's time for us (amd64 users) to have our own section dedicated to amd64 issues like ppc and sparc. I don't know if we have to contact one of the admins but we might as well put a poll up .
What do you think ?
Do amd64 users are sufficiently enough in numbers to have a dedicated section ? If so raise your hand please and explain your point of view . Mine's already way up !
P.S. Sorry but I though we could do polls here . Might as well do it the old fashion way ...

Well, I'm with you.
An AMD64 forum seems to be not only a good idea, but a necessity... |

Sounds like a good idea to me...especially considering the teething pains we're experiencing.

| May someone should file a bug against the forums at bugs.gentoo.org and request an AMD64 forum. |

hear hear!
(a fitting thread to post in when posting for the first time from my shiny new 64-bit gentoo install!)
And a more organized list of working masked packages. We can do this =] _________________ peribleptic anacolouthon. |

Aggreed, and an obvious post/sticky to the AMD64 technotes
| Code: | | http://dev.gentoo.org/~brad_mssw/amd64-tech-notes.html |
Which should be easy to find, but I didn't find it so easy (had to ask google with a site:gentoo.org). |

I quite agree, I have more then enough problems getting (64 bit) Gentoo to run on my dual opteron....
So...who do we ask for a forum dedicated to the architecture? |

| Check the "Forums Feedback" forum. It's a better bet than bugzilla... |
