Need list of directory ownership under /var

I accidentally set the directory ownership for everything recursively under /var to root:root. I need help determining the correct ownership for each directory/file. I can't believe I messed up this bad.

I think it would be easier to restore a backup or use the backup as a guide.

I suppose in a pinch you could make a chroot and reemerge everything that you have installed in it, and use that as a basis for determining who owns what...

Use a stage3 tarball as a guide. Though most of it is going to be owned by root anyway I think, other than some portage specific stuff.

It quite depends on what was installed...

Mine was all root at the top level, but underneath that, all bets are off.

/var/lib/mysql owned by mysql... at least that one makes sense but not obvious.
