problem after updating gtk+ & gtkmm [SOLVED]

Hi,

I'm running Gentoo 2007.0 profile on AMD64 box and I'm pretty happy desktop user with Gnome 2.18.
After updating gtk+ from 2.10.14 to 2.12.* version and gtkmm from 2.10.10 to 2.12.0 I had problem with nautilus - it crashed when changing directory. After upgrading nautilus to version 2.18.3-r1 problem was solved but still have problems with mozilla-thunderbird and openoffice - in thunderbird when I attempt to write an email, open an email in new window or anything else that creates new window thunderbird crashes/freezes; in openoffice the problem is analogous - in spreadsheet if i choose "Format cells" from context menu openoffice dies.
Downgrading to prevoius versions of gtk+ & gtkmm solves the problems but I want to use new versions (mostly for Gnome 2.20). Here is error in console for thunderbird and openoffice:

I started re-emerging the whole system, but this is a very improper approach I think ...

I've recompiled the whole system twice but .......... no result

- still same problem

May be it's some glibc related problem or may be CFLAGS

any ideas ????

problem was in installed theme - I changed the theme and things was doing fine

I had the similar prob, my firefox always crashes or get no response.
Once i change the gtk theme back to the dafault one, everything turns out okay.
Since I dont wanna change my gtk theme so far, what i have to do is downgrade the gtk+

or maybe edit your theme to be compliant....

What themes did you guys use? This solved one of my problems too. I was using Ubuntulooks with Gilouche theme for metacity and Gartoon icons.

I'm using a theme named Fawn which is found in deviantART.
