I've just finished merging Apache 1.3.27-r4 and mod_php 4.3.2-r3. Apache works fine except for parsing PHP files.

I've added the directives...
Code:
Loadmodule php4_module extramodules/libphp4.so
Addmodule mod_php4.c

...to /etc/apache/conf/apache.conf and the contents of /etc/apache/conf/addon-modules/mod_php.conf...
Code:
<IfModule mod_php4.c>
AddType applications/x-httpd-php   .php .php4 .php3 .phtml
AddType applications/x-httpd-php-source .phps
</IfModule>

...to /etc/apache/conf/commonapache.conf. (This is the equivelant of `ebuild /var/db/pkg/dev-php/mod_php-4.3.2-r3 config`)

Before I added the Loadmodule and Addmodule directives, Apache functioned correctly.
Now that I've added these directives, Apache complains (in /var/log/apache/error_log:)...
Code:
Syntax error on line 57 of /etc/apache/conf/apache.conf:
Cannot load /etc/apache/extramodules/libphp4.so into server:
/usr/lib/libming.so: R_PPC_REL24 relocation at 0x0d1a3a38 for symbol `' out of range

What's wrong? :evil:

Try to rebuild mod_php with USE="-flash" , iirc 'flash' is x86 only.

/etc/make.conf:
Code:
USE="kde qt -gtk -gnome usb flash doc mysql perl mod_perl -apache2 -alsa"
CHOST="powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-mcpu=750 -O3 -pipe -fsigned-char -mpowerpc-gfxopt"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~ppc"
FEATURES="buildpkg nostrip"
FWIW: The machine is a Macintosh PowerBook G3 Lombard (Bronze)

Thanks, Zendron! :D

Now, the most important question(s):
    How do I report this?
    To whom do I report this?
...so that others do not suffer needlessly?
