Ok, I want to use bitchx (I've gotten a thing for command-line apps these days), and this is in my way. Any help?

Maybe you can post a few more lines from the compile, it would probably spit out a few more errors than that.

If you want to, you can try an other irc-client called "irssi" which also runs in console mode.
AMD Athlon64 3200+, MSI K8 Neo-FSR, 1024Mb Crucial DDR400, Dell 2405FPW 24", Maxtor 200Gb Sata runs gentoo and now Xgl with Compiz

I'll take a look at ircii in the mean time, but I like bitchx (used it before. User friendly it may not be, but I like it none the less)

You still haven't posted the error, those are just warnings
You can remove them by adding -w to your CFLAGs. Please post the actual error, if necessary just post the whole log, though I think its gonna be the same as [bug=113736]this bug[/bug].

Also please trim the LS_COLORS from your emerge --info in the OP, its length is fscking up page layout.

Forget it. I had forgotten this thread, and found another client.
