Problems with dri in gentoo-sources 2.6.16

On Thinkpad T22 (Savage)
I have problem with DRI since last update to 2.6.16.

$ glxgears
Killed

$ dmesg
[4388583.006000] VM: killing process glxgears

$ uname -a
Linux silent 2.6.16-gentoo-r1 #1 Sat Apr 8 14:50:36 IDT 2006 i686 Pentium III (Coppermine) GNU/Linux

well, i would say dri works, but glxgears is broken. recompiling mesa might fix it...

do other dri apps like games work? best way to test it would be bzflag, unless you have another dri game that you can easily benchmark with

glxgears comes from mesa-progs. Maybe try to recompile this as well?
