And stable here too, even if no mozsvg flag the rebuild did it good.ARealNoobOne wrote: Yes, thunderbird is crashing too... e.g. Tools/Message Filters : create a new rule, save it... and TB crashes when you click the button

epatch ${FILESDIR}/${PN}-1.99.3-docfix.patchI also use gnochm. The gtkspell/totem problem was debated when 2.10's ebuilds were put into portage, and the only real way to enable a flag, is to patch the configure[.ac] file[s]. If you wanna email me a patch, by all means I will do it. I realize that the gtkspell and totem aren't necessary for most people, but some people do want them in there, unfortunately.ARealNoobOne wrote:I use gnochm to view .chm files.
<snip a buncha stuff>
If I comment them then i just get what I need : no additional packages get merged, emerge runs fine and build the gtkhtml2 python module for gnochm.
=> May be these last 2 deps should be conditonned by USE flags, the standard 'spell' and (package specific for now) 'totem' ?
<snip more stuff>
=> May be a clear warning could be output in gnome-python about this ?
<even more stuff snipped for sake of readability>
THX steev for the 20050805-2042 tarball !
Don't cry! Gaim is one of those apps that is finicky when you change gtk+ versions on it. Re-emerge it, and it should work fine (I've been using gaim for quite a bit, no problems here other than my craptastical dialup connection) Some people have to re-emerge it, some don't. Seems you are one of the unfortunate ones that doesSilverXXX wrote:Thanks, i solved gal problems.
But now, gaim crash every time i try to write something in a chat window.

I have a few ideas, firstly, pmount doesn't create devices. that is handled by udev/devfs (please use udev, devfs is getting deprecated and 2.6.13 it will be completely removed). As to mounting, well, that looks like you got a bad sync from me as I was working on the packages. Please update your hal ebuilds. hal 0.5.3 has problems, and has been pulled from the overlay (doesn't compile on amd64 - 0.5.4 does, however it is a cvs snapshot) Apparently, for mounting CDs and DVDs, --retain-privileges needs to be passed to hald, so I have updated the init.d script in the overlay. So, either grab the new tarballs, and (hopefully) I have it working correctly. Please let me know if it doesn't. You might want to re-emerge gnome-volume-manager as well.Mala Zaba wrote:pmount don't write my device in fstab...
