|
|
Hi,
I'd like to report what looks like a host that is down/non-routeable in the rsync.europe.gentoo.org rotation.
Both at home and at work I'm getting connection time outs when emerge trys to sync against 213.221.124.132. I've tried pinging the host and I get no response. Also, traceroute stops at: 212.6.224.219
I can sync fine with other servers in the rotation.
Cheers,
G. |

I can confirm this, but the place to report things like this is the Gentoo Bugzilla: https://bugs.gentoo.org, file it under the "Mirrors" product.
Could even be part of a larger problem, yesterday I had a couple of (non-gentoo related) IPs I couldn't connect due to bad routers.
EDIT: Also, the IP in question seems to have dropped out of the DNS round-robin by now. _________________ Please put [SOLVED] in your topic if you are a moron. |

Thanks for pointing me at bugzilla, didn't realise it was used for infrastructre problems too
I'm still seeing this host in my syncs, this could be due to my DNS servers not being updated yet, but just in case I've posted a bug anyway: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84837
Cheers,
