My server hasn't been updated since mid-2005. Scared to touch it. My desktop is in almost the same boat but is a little broken. But I still love Gentoo.

i believe he said the rss was torsmo and a script. Would have to look back to be sure. But don't think he mentioned what script :P

Ok, this time with links...
As said, it is torsmo an a self written python-script. The Icons are modified Suede-icons. You can find both things on my webspace. Some torsmo things are also from a torsmo-thread here. The Wallpaper is from deviantart. There's also a transalation of the writings.

do i need anything extra for this python script when i run it i get:

Here you guys go... you have to REFRESH or you'll get my old crap... This is kinda a Milk looking theme type thingy... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... well I thought rambling would be cool, but I guess I failed. Next time I'll have to ramble better... but its not next time so I guess I'll try and make up for it.. Pie is good, can't wait for Halo 2...

Can you tell me how you get xcompmgr to work right with openbox? i recently switched to ob from metactiy in gnome and when ever i run xcompmgr everything get's hidden, it's all still there just hidden behind a default backdrop or something. Any idea?

if you run it after you run a bunch of windows, yeah, it will do that. if you run it in your .xinitrc before your run openbox (or right after) then it works fine here.

does anything display (like the menu, etc) after you run xcompmgr? it should... :D

theme? also how can u put the channel name`s into the irrsi instead numbers? .irssi/config? :P
and for last .Xresources? those colors are very nice :)

Ahh, yes, sorry, forgot it. You need Mark Nottinghams RSS.py in your $PYTHONPATH
