Can you make the vesafb-tng as "optional"(by some use flag)? Since the LCD users do no need it at all...and, it seems to break the bootsplash on my Matrox G450.

I don't understand that every love-sources someone asks why win4lin isn't in it or glad to see it back!

It's been in every love sources for at least the last 10 releases.

Not having a go I promise

I simply do not understand the comments every release - I've checked the changelogs, it's mentioned in there everytime and as the win4lin patch is always mine I know the patch is there....

Applies almost cleanly to all the loves since it's been dropped.
I know I'm probably the only one using it, but can I have it back please?

i used the -love7 ebuild as the server seemed to be temporarily down or something.
rename it, change -mm version and url and it should work fine.

I just discovered something very interesting, not sure if anyone else has noticed this. Anyway, nvidia works now with framebuffer, the console badness after closing the x session isn't there anymore, this is a result of the new vesafb-tng patch, I confirmed that by testing it with gentoo-dev-sources 2.6.7-r8. This is with nvidia 6106 btw, once again, not sure if this has already been found, but very cool ntl.
