|
|
I have emerged wine-bin even though it is a bit outdated. I have also tried following the directions somewhere on this forum on using the fedora RPM's and copying the files over. But no matter which method I try I always get this error when trying to run anything.
wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting debuger........
err:seh:EXC_DEfaultHandling Unhandled exception code c0000005 flags 0 addr 0x55dc8f50
Is there anything special I need to do to run wine on a 64 bit system besides what I have already done?
edit:
Before anyone asks I have the following emul-linux-x86 installed
baselibs 1.2.2-r2, compat 1.0, glibc 1.1, gtklibs 1.2 soundlibs 1.0-r1, xlibs 1.2-r3 |

What kernel are you currently running. At present time wine will not run with the 2.6.10 kernels. _________________ Intell C2D Q6600 @ 3.0Ghz -- ASUS P5W DH

Cheating the system, you have to download a 32-bit wine rpm and basically do it all yourself. _________________ -Kow |
