Helo.
I'm tryin to build gentoo from stage3 and I have found the same error that I found trying it from stage1.
It's the second time I try to install gentoo, last time I got further.
My error now is:
configure WARNING: If you wanted to set the --build tipe, don't use --host.
if a cross compiler is detected then cross compile mode will be used.
After that a horrible list of warnings initialization from incompatible pointer type.
And then the system return the control to me!
Any ideas about the possible solution? |

I'm presuming from the subject that he is trying to do the _________________ Where there's open source , there's a way. |

Hehe.
Hmm, nothing suspicious in USE flags, what about your CFLAGS and CHOST parameters?

CFLAGS="-march=i586 -O3 -pipe"
CHOST="i586-pc-linux-gnu"
I have a K6-2 and I have been changing from especific processor (k6-2) to more generic (i586).
Should I change to even more generic like i386? |
