Wow. That looks awesome! OpenOffice is really really great but I don't like its look. With these toolbars it looks great however. Thanks for the hint, I will install it immediately :D

Those screenshots look like Ximian's gtk2-ified OpenOffice.org, so you need to have a look at this thread if you are interested in installing it.

Yes, it looks like, but it is not Ximian ;)
It takes only 7 seconds to transform your existing OOo...

@cwt137: I'm not sure if it works, but You can safely try it. Read the README about how to "uninstall" the icons, there's no risk.

It's nice, but I can't seem to get it to change the background color for when you hover over it to the hover color...

I have the same thing, but already wrote to the coder about this. I'll have to get some free time to help him find the problem (or the solution)...

I have OpenOffice 1.1rc1-bin installed from portage

But, in genbar.tcl, you must specify the config dir :

Code:

set OOconfigDir "/home/<usr-name>/OpenOffice.org1.1/user/config/soffice.cfg/"

and I dont have the soffice.cfg directory. It stops to /home/jeff/.openoffice/1.1/user/config...

I have tried to erase my config dir and regenerate it and it dont work...

Ok, I have found the answer to my question. You just need to play with your toolbar in Openoffice to create this directory...

Does anyone have a problem with mouseover with the Gorilla iconset?

This script is really cool and fast btw

It seems like everyone has :)
But make sure You follow the instructions about color settings, they are in the script.

Very cool. Was able to get it to work in gnome by setting guessBG to "false" and emerging imagemagick.

How do you determine the correct background color under Gnome?

Maybe the gimp has a Photoshop-like eyedropper that can tell me?

TIA for any help.

I use kcolorchooser... won't help You :(
An ugly idea: make a screenshot, than use Gimp's colorchooser on the image (yes, it has an eyedropper).

Yep, that worked!

This is a great tool... after much aggravation at trying unsuccessfully to install xd2... really, this was all I wanted. Usable openoffice icons.

It would be a nice little project for a developer to make an ebuild for installing this tool.

Y'know, OpenOffice should have an easy way to change the icons built in. Anyone know why it doesn't?

Maybe they try to focus on the important things, not the eyecandy ;)

hmm i always get the error that "exec convert" didn't work. it seems i don't have this "convert" app installed. do i need to emerge something? what's this "convert?" well the scripts says it found the KDE icons and that it successfully copied them to OOo - but well thats it.
