Hi all,
I just emerged the new mozilla-1.2.1-r5 (previously had -r4, no problems at all), and both mozilla and evolution are now toast.
1) /usr/bin/mozilla is owned by root:root, but only has rw permissions for root - not even execute, and no other users can execute it. I've fixed that.
2) /usr/bin/mozilla is an empty file - 0 size.
3) evolution fails with "No such file or directory libplc4.so" which is clearly in /usr/lib/mozilla, and has permissions set correctly, as do parent directories. I am not using prelinking, so I can't see why it can't find this file.
My questions are:
1) wtf happened to mozilla?
2) Do I need to re-emerge evolution?
thanks

Well, I don't know exactly what it was, but a re-emerge fixed it.
Weird and wacky stuff. |
