Seems like it, it was supposed to be released on the 26th of October but still no news...

It was tagged in the 26th-27th, and it's even on ftp.kde.org, but it hasn't been officially announced yet. It will be tommarow or thursday.

In the absence of an official ebuild, does anyone have one that will let me try this out without losing KDE3.1? I'd like to try it out but only when I have spare time; I'd rather stick to 3.1 for stability while I work! :roll:

Something tells me those beta packages are way behind schedule, still no release

I'm waiting for them for a new Gentoo installation....damn this is annoying

kdelib failed to emerge

Can the beta happily live alongside KDE 3.1.4? I.e. if I install the beta, will I be able to continue to use KDE 3.1.4 for work, and switch to 3.2 beta 1 just to play around? Do I have to do anything special to do this?

I did emerge sync, andthe new kde is in portage, but I get the following- what do I need to do to install 3.2.0beta1?? I presently have 3.1.4 on my test box, and 3.1.3 on my main box. I must not be understanding the correct procedure here- can somebody please post detailed intructions for us amateurs? My test box is ~x86 all the way, and I never have any problems (so far). Also run 2.6 kernels, and gcc 3.3.2-r2.
