ACL + Samba + ext3

Has anyone gotten this to work? I've installed acl, done the kernel config for ext3 and ext2, and I still can't get setfacl to work. I didn't add the USE="acl" until late in the game, are there any packages that I will need to recompile that I haven't thought of? So far I have recompiled acl, attr, samba, kernel, and fileutils... any help would be greatly appreciated.

After several days and a complete rebuild of the system I finally found what was wrong. You must include the option acl in your fstab.

eg..

/dev/hda2 /home ext3 noatime,acl 0 0

After remounting with that option I had no problems using setfacl.
