Hi everyone!! :)

I'm using udev and running the latest stable version of the gentto-dev-sources kernel (2.6.10-r6).
I'm actually having a problem with my iPod (plugged on firewire port) which is not recognized by my system if I plug it after the system boots (I mean when X is already started for example).

I'm using the sbp2 module which loads just fine at boot time:
Code:

# lsmod
Module                  Size  Used by
nls_iso8859_1           3776  1
nls_cp437               5376  1
nls_iso8859_15          4288  1
snd_intel8x0           28768  0
snd_via82xx            23040  0
snd_ac97_codec         73632  2 snd_intel8x0,snd_via82xx
snd_mpu401_uart         6144  1 snd_via82xx
snd_rawmidi            20704  1 snd_mpu401_uart
ohci_hcd               19848  0
ehci_hcd               28612  0
sbp2                   20936  0
ohci1394               31108  0
nvidia               3463004  12

and I really don't know what to do about it.

Any brilliant ideas? :)

regards,

Does dmesg tell you anything when you plug your iPod in?
