Hi
I,m try to install Gnome on a mini Inspiron Dell netbook that I installed Gentoo and x-server on it.
I had a conflict message about dev-lang/python sqlite USE flag and sys-auth/pambase systemd USE flag. I use of sqlite flag in my make.conf. So after many tests I remove both of them :) and I think paste it! after some downloads I have a block message that I can't read it!
below is my USE flags and /var/log/portage/summary.log and /var/log/emerge.log (sorry I couldn't use of wgetpaste and forget path of log files!!! :
Code:

This package is known to not work with reiser4.  If you are running
reiser4 and have a problem, do not file a bug.  We know it does not
work and we don't plan on fixing it since reiser4 is the one that is
broken in this regard.  Try using a sane filesystem like ext3 or
even reiser3.
The LUKS support has changed from versions prior to 3.4.4.  Now,
you use crypt_root=/dev/blah instead of real_root=luks:/dev/blah.
Local use flag 'crypt' has been renamed to 'cryptsetup' (bug #414523).
Please set flag 'cryptsetup' for this very package if you would like
to have genkernel create an initramfs with LUKS support.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

QA Notice: This ebuild installs into paths that should be created at runtime.
To fix, simply do not install into these directories.  Instead, your package
should create dirs on the fly at runtime as needed via init scripts/etc...

For detailed documentation please see the upstream website:
http://www.balabit.com/sites/default/files/documents/syslog-ng-ose-3.4-guides/en/syslog-ng-ose-v3.4-guide-admin/html/index.html
It is highly recommended that app-admin/logrotate be emerged to
manage the log files.  syslog-ng installs a file in /etc/logrotate.d
for logrotate to use.

dhcpcd has zeroconf support active by default.
This means it will always obtain an IP address even if no
DHCP server can be contacted, which will break any existing
failover support you may have configured in your net configuration.
This behaviour can be controlled with the noipv4ll configuration
file option or the -L command line switch.
See the dhcpcd and dhcpcd.conf man pages for more details.

Dhcpcd has duid enabled by default, and this may cause issues
with some dhcp servers. For more information, see
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=477356

If you activate the lookup-hostname hook to look up your hostname
using the dns, you need to install net-dns/bind-tools.

If you use startx to start X instead of a login manager like gdm/kdm,
you can set the XSESSION variable to anything in /etc/X11/Sessions/ or
any executable. When you run startx, it will run this as the login session.
You can set this in a file in /etc/env.d/ for the entire system,
or set it per-user in ~/.bash_profile (or similar for other shells).
Here's an example of setting it for the whole system:
    echo XSESSION="Gnome" > /etc/env.d/90xsession
