Status of the implementation of qt5 in portage?

Hallo,

I know that question like when will xy be implemented or what is the status of xxx are quite annoying, especially for the people working on this subject. Even though I am prepared to step on this land mine and ask:

Does anybody know the status of the qt5 implementation in gentoo?

I know that there is a overlay, which allows you to run it, but unfortunately I couldn't find any progress report or statement from an official source regarding this topic. If somebody has a clue about what is going on or can point me in the right direction in order to get an rough estimate, I would really appreciate it.

Have a little more patience.
Going by the not that recent mail on the dev list, qt 5 should land in the tree (under mask) somewhere within next week.
