|
|
I have been unable to emerge net-analyzer:net-snmp-5.7.3_pre3 with the following error:
Code: | /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/4.7.3/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lnetsnmpagent
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status |
Emerge log (http://bpaste.net/show/578600/) and emerge info (http://bpaste.net/show/578613/).
As suggested in other threads, I have tried:
Code: | python-updater
python-updater --reinstall-identical-versions
revdep-rebuild |
Any hints appreciated.

Hi,
I got stuck there too, and removing my obsolete libnetsnmpagent.so* files did the trick for me.
Code: |
rm /usr/lib64/libnetsnmpagent.so.30.0.3
rm /usr/lib64/libnetsnmpagent.so.30
|
Your file name may, of course, vary. I noticed those libs were leftover preserved as old packages used it, and I guess the net-snmp configure would see them and guess differently, but fail at linking with them at some point.
Cheers, |
