whenever I reboot, I always start off with the maximum brightness
systemctl:
systemd-backlight@backlight:acpi_video0.service loaded failed failed Load/Save Screen Backlight Brightness of backlight:acp
journalctl -xb
Aug 28 15:01:07 localhost systemd[1]: systemd-backlight@backlight:acpi_video0.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
Aug 28 15:01:07 localhost systemd[1]: Failed to start Load/Save Screen Backlight Brightness of backlight:acpi_video0.
systemctl status systemd-backlight@backlight:acpi_video0.service

I have a /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Aug 28 15:01 acpi_video0 -> ../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/backlight/acpi_video0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 Aug 28 15:01 intel_backlight -> ../../devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/drm/card0/card0-LVDS-1/intel_backlight
I have temorarily used this acpi_video0 directory to automatically load a static brightness config
I'd prefer having the system save my brightness level instead(preferably without creating a new service script)
