This morning mail was not arriving. After a great deal of fumbling around I commented outin my /etc/hosts file, and mail started arrriving. I'm posting this in case someone else in having tbrouble getting mail, and in hopes that someone can explain why this was a problem in the first place. |

Interesting...
I didn't have to touch that file and mail receives just fine (running sendmail - what MTA are you using?)
Do you have ipv6 set up completely? _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

I think I deleted some stuff for ipv6. I'm running postfix. Looking in my kernel configuration, I have config_ipv6 and config_ipv6_sit enabled and that's all. In shorewall I have not disabled ipv6. I'm not sure where else to look for a problem and unclear on what I might have deleted. Thanks. |
