[Solved] amarok 2.8.0 refuses to refresh podcasts

I have recently noticed that my Amarok is refusing to refresh podcasts, even if I manually click the refresh all button or individually refresh a single podcast.

I tried re-building Amarok.

Any suggestions?

Amarok Version 2.8.0
Using KDE 4.12.5

Solution was to do 'emerge --emptytree amarok'
Problem went away.

I'll have to try this. Amarok 2.8 does not have any songs in my local collection anymore. I've never had an issue before with scanning the local collection. Recently I've been working through issues with the recent perl upgrade to 5.18.2 and a mysql 5.5 update. So I've only recently been able to recompile Amarok direct dependencies to try some use flag changes, and mariedb embedded. So far no carrot.
