Google Calendar export to vCalendar: possible?

Hi there,

I'm a complete newbie in that area. I haven't used any online calendars yet.

Ok, what do I want to do:
I'm using Claws-Mail as email client. Claws-Mail has a plugin vCalencar, where I can put in some appointments. Haven't used that until now.

Also I have a google account, which I haven't used too.

So my thoughts are to connect that vCalendar from Claws-Mail to the Google Calendar. Is that possible? When yes, is there something like a tutorial?

claws-mail-gdata plugin should be able to directly use the google data sources (address book, calendar, ...) from within claws.
