Anyone got a clue how to fix this ugly menu in Chromium / Chrome?

I also tested Chrome Beta and Chrome Unstable, they have the same ugly looking menu :(

Thank you!

I found that the Xfce 4.4 theme dont go along with chrome/chromium styles. Chaging the theme in Xfce settings make the menu look nicer (but not like in previous chrome versions :-/).

Thank you!

It's ugly as hell. Yes.

Google keeps blaming the graphic stack, it really doesnt matter which one, they even blame ms (not that I like them) for the haxxoring they got yesterday in google drive, due to bad ssl certificates.

If you don't like goo services, just don't use them. If you get into their play... don't complain.

Now, as for the Gentoo user I am, I think there's no easy solution for your problem. If compiling from source doesn't help then you're bound to patch the sources.

Obviously I built chromium from sources, same problem.

Please fuck off if you don't know how to fix this issue or won't say something constructive :)

There's no satisfying answer to your question.

I've been in a number of {nvidia, radeon, nouveau} threads, and I have done a fair amount of debugging. The fact is that all browsers work in that regard. Chrome doesn't.

In any case, it's up to you. I just try to do my best.

Ps. I mean, it does some kind of drawing, like firefox' xul, but it not native. Their stuff can change at any given time. Neither browser is native to any toolkit, so, ax much as we would like that, they're never gonna fit.

You can do better boy:

1. Asking != complaining

2. I don't care about the google gossip

3. You are not contributing to the original issue besides telling me that there is no answer to my question which is irrelevant since I somewhat resolved my issue and already marked this thread as resolved.

Thank you!

Perhaps you too can do better, if not you will soon be doing without the aid of those on this site.

Thank you for pointing me to that resource, its been helpful. Sorry if I were rude but I really didn't like the attitude of "if you use x don't complain" its not constructive.

Greetings.
