Hi to all,
I've nearly setup my openvpn connection on my copy of gentoo. I am using Private Internet Access as my openvpn client. I have installed their ".ovpn" and the "ca.crt" into "/etc/openvpn" folder.
I startup the openvpn like this:

Code:
steve@mernivia /etc/openvpn $ sudo openvpn CA\ Toronto.ovpn
Mon May  5 23:43:26 2014 OpenVPN 2.3.3 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu [SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [EPOLL] [MH] [IPv6] built on May  5 2014

Mon May  5 23:43:47 2014 Initialization Sequence Completed

So the openvpn starts up ok, *but* when I've launched Google-Chrome or Firefox webrowsers, it takes a long time for the web page to load and I get "page not found" or something similar. when I do "sudo killall openvpn" I get this code which is normal:
Code:
Mon May  5 23:47:06 2014 event_wait : Interrupted system call (code=4)
Mon May  5 23:47:06 2014 /bin/ip addr del dev tun0 local 10.130.1.6 peer 10.130.1.5
Mon May  5 23:47:06 2014 SIGTERM[hard,] received, process exiting

I have contacted Private Internet Access, but they don't support this distribution... I hope someone can help me.

If this problem turns out to be unresolvable, could someone suggest a good vpn?

Thanks in advance,
Regards,

Hi to all,
I've solved my problem, I talked to Private Internet Access and they gave me their dns addresses and it's working great! (I put the DNS addresses at the top of my resolve.conf)
