Abiword 3.0 crashes after clicking thesaurus

I have recently installed a ~amd64 Gentoo-System.
Contrary to possible expectations such a system runs quite stable.

One problem that I have met though is the following:

Clicking thesaurus will crash Abiword with the following output in a shell:
abiword: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/abiword-3.0/plugins/aiksaurus.so: undefined symbol: _ZN17AiksaurusGTK_impl12AiksaurusGTKC1Ev

At start Abiword produces the following line (all the time):
** (abiword:4303): WARNING **: Running with buggy math library, see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=726250
