I am only surprised that you have plenty of pdb readers for android and "none" for linux.

Just a thought... Have you tried using one of the on-line format converters to convert your .pdb files to e.g. .epub files which you could then read in e.g. Firefox with the EPUBReader add-on?

I don't know, as I've never used .pdb files, but I wonder if it has something to do with the DRM protection included in some .pdb files. Perhaps that dissuaded some FOSS programmers from writing a reader for .pdb files.

If you don't want to use an ebook reader that depends on Qt, you could try yBook, a freeware Windows application that its author states can run under WINE in Linux.
