Haswell Graphics XV,GL,GL2 don't work

I've installed Gentoo on an Intel i7 4770 system. With mplayer, xv,gl,gl2 video output drivers don't work. xvimagesink with gstreamer doesn't work either. Do i need to re-emerge something with some USE flag set?

The motherboard (Gigabyte H87-D3H) has DVI, HDMI and VGA ports. With xrandr I disable VGA and use just the DVI and HDMI ports.
If I enable the VGA port, everything works fine.

Edit: It works fine only on the screen which is a clone of the VGA output.

I don't know if this is important. I am able to view the BIOS screen and GRUB screen only on the VGA port. Does this help?

Using
vblank_mode=0 fixes the problem with glxgears and mplayer -vo gl/gl2
If this is the source of the problem, how do I fix it for mplayer -vo xv

Setting SwapbuffersWait to false solved the problem

Created a file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf containing
