Hello there,
I've got a problem with an USB based RTO8192CU based wifi adapter: first it starts up normally, but after a few minutes it stops working. No connection anymore, nothing, either I got to unplug it or reload the driver.
Firmware is installed, kernel is Gentoo Sources 3.12.20 64 bit.
What can I do to solve this situation? Also tested a newer vanilla 3.14.4 kernel, same there. |

Same here. To keep alive the connection, I constantly ping the router.  |

I just tried that, a ping every second to my router - the connection lastet about 20 minutes and then sadly went away, so this sadly not a working workaround for me.  |
