Hi.

We could use the equivalent in grub2-speak as a second post in this thread.

Code:

<compile kernel>
mount /boot
cp arch/x86_64/boot/bzImage /boot/kernel-3.12.13-gentoo
grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
umount /boot


That, and a comment that the grub screen no longer shows all the available kernel options on the splash, but rather picks the latest one unless you select the list.
