Has anyone had any success using ffmpeg to convert an arbitrary audio file to multichannel "WAVE FORMAT EXTENSIBLE", i.e. 0xFFFE? I've got an AV receiver that chokes on straight PCM via HDMI, but it seems to like this other format. EDIT: Never mind; I didn't have the encode USE flag set for ffmpeg. Works fine now.
