Hello guys, I'm trying to install powerline but I'm getting an error.
I'm following the official installation guide here

Here is what I did:

I've added raiagent overlay like so:
layman -a raiagent
layman -S

Then I've added all the necessary package.keywords and emerge app-misc/powerline

Here is the error:

* ERROR: app-misc/powerline-1.2::raiagent failed (install phase):
 *   You are not specifying README.gentoo contents!
 * Call stack:

The output of the command emerge --info '=app-misc/powerline-1.2::raiagent' is this:

First, file a bug about the badly worded and uninformative error message. As I read the function that called die, it requires at least one of: non-empty $DOC_CONTENTS, existence of ${FILESDIR}/README.gentoo-${SLOT%/*}, or existence of ${FILESDIR}/README.gentoo${README_GENTOO_SUFFIX}.

Second, either powerline needs to be modified or the function readme.gentoo_create_doc needs to be modified. As written, if $DOC_CONTENTS is an empty string, readme.gentoo_create_doc will die, even if it is empty because the caller explicitly set it to an empty string. The powerline ebuild sets $DOC_CONTENTS to be empty, then conditionally inserts extra text into it based on the value of your USE flags. Overall, I see no value in the conditional documentation. If I recall correctly, the Gentoo project has tended toward a policy that USE flags should control build-time behavior. If a feature can be toggled without affecting the build, it should be installed without respect to a USE flag.
