Hi @ll,
first I want to say that I am a newbie regarding to vdr.
I want to configure my home pc (running 64bit gentoo) using a
Freecom DVB-T stick to stream (first) a single channel to LAN
(especially to my iPhone over WLAN).
In a second step I want to store some tv shows to disk.
And after this maybe I want to control vdr by some other devices
like netbook/iPhone.
Can anyone point me to good and up-to-date howto/tutorial?
Maybe vdr is not the right choice for what I want to do.
Please let me know and point me to a better/easier tool.
Thanks for your help
Best regards
Christian
Edit: I currently have dvb-t running using kaffeine.
So configuring my stick is not my problem. |

Hi,
I don't have much experience with vdr, but if streaming is your main goal, I can recommend tvheadend.
