Hey, all!
I just updated flux to 0.9.6_pre9 and all of a sudden, I can't get tabs on my windows. There isn't even a menu item to enable/disable, or to set the location. I checked my ~/.fluxbox/init and tabs are enabled. For the heck of it, here is my init file:

i know it dev they changed the menu/configuration a bit, i dont see options for it now, but you can mouse3 (drag) a window to another one to enable the tabs. I tried last night for the first time and it rocks. So, with your middle mouse button (push down on scroll wheel) drag window title to another. _________________ Athlon 64 3200, MSI NEO NForce 3, 1Gig PC3700, EVGA Geforce 6800 GT |

Thanks for the tip , but it's not exactly what I'm looking for. I used to be able to have my tabs on the left side of the window, positioned at the top. If I wanted to automatically add a new window to the tab group, I could just right click on the tab , then open the new app through the menu.
The above solution is good for clicking between windows, but doesn' have the functionality of the real tabs. _________________ ...space shuttle of sin - redseal, circa December 2004

That's exactly the reason why I started using kahakai. No tabs but a lot nicer in other aspects. |

Oh, well
I guess I'll just go back to the stable version. Transparent menus are nice, but I've really gotten used to those tabs.
Thanks again! _________________ ...space shuttle of sin - redseal, circa December 2004
