Been a while since installed Gentoo, been using LInux Mint on and off. Been thinking on installing Gentoo, again.
Linux Mint/Ubuntu update their software/packages when updates are available.
My question, is there a command line to update my installed Gentoo to latest software/packages, too? If so, how often is recommended?
Thank you in advance. |

then
Code: | # emerge -uavDN --with-bdeps=y @world |
As for how often you should do it...imho often but don't emerge --sync more than once a day, the output of the command will tell you why. |
