|
|
Hi all,
I recently installed Gentoo with systemd on my computer and it works fine, except that during the startup procedure I have a delay of a couple of minutes. The output looks like:
Code: | [ TIME ] Timed out waiting for device dev-asa3.device.
[DEPEND] Dependency failed for /dev/asa3.
[DEPEND] Dependency failed for Swap. |
After that the system starts normal. It is not really a problem since the system works fine but it annoys me everytime I start the computer.
Thanks! |

What is /dev/asa3 ? Is this a typical consumer machine or a server? Do you have a typo somewhere, perhaps /etc/fstab and this should actually be /dev/sda3 or something to that extent? _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD

Thanks for the help.
Yes indeed i misspelled /dev/sda3 in my fstab. Shame on me but I was confused because it is a new computer and everything worked fine.
Thanks! |

No problem, sometimes it takes an extra set of eyes and a bit of experience to quickly find an answer to some questions. _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD
