Hello,
I have a computer of mine running gentoo with an encrypted iscsi root. I boot via iPXE. I'm experiencing issues shutting down. It seems to be getting caught on some of the init scripts. http://etherboot.org/wiki/sanboot/gentoo_iscsi suggest /etc/init.d/net.(interface) zap. That seems to get it further along. It then gets stuck on dhcpcd shutdown. I remember I tried zapping that in the past along with a few others without success.
Does anyone have a similar setup (probably just an iscsi root issue) and perform any additional tasks / init script zapping to shutdown? Is there a way to see where it's actually getting caught? Thanks in advance. _________________ Signature:

I figured this out today because I needed to reboot. Just zap every single interface including net.lo, dhcpcd, iscsid and it should work. I actually wrote some crazy script to echo each script's name on start or stop but that wasn't necessary _________________ Signature:
