Hello, I set up an FTP server on an home file server. My purpose is to stop all the users in the /mnt/data directory after the connection via ftp client, but now every user is redirected in his home directory and can navigate in all the directory tree. I tried to modify the /etc/vsftpd/vsftpd.conf file in many ways, but when I change something that the behavior of the server doesn't change, except when I do syntax mistakes, that are reported when I restart the server.
This is my vsftpd.conf file
Code: | anonymous_enable=NO
local_enable=YES
write_enable=YES
dirmessage_enable=YES
connect_from_port_20=YES
idle_session_timeout=600
data_connection_timeout=120
ftpd_banner=Welcome to FTP service.
chroot_local_user=YES
local_root=/mnt/data
listen=YES
listen_port=6543
delete_failed_uploads=YES |
