Hello, I am planing to use gentoo with kde.

My Macbook pro is early 2011 17-inch model. This model's ID is 8,3(maybe) and it's VGA card is radeon 6750M.

This is my status.
1. This link said, https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Radeon , Microcode is required for R600 and newer GPUs.
6750M is newer then R600. And I follow that page.(Kernel configure setting.)
Device Drivers --->
Generic Driver Options --->
-*- Userspace firmware loading support
[*] Include in-kernel firmware blobs in kernel binary
(radeon/SUMO_uvd.bin )
(/lib/firmware) Firmware blos root directory

And, emerge radeon-ucode. I check firmware file is already in /lib/firmware.
But, If I use this kernel, My system is freeze when select EFI file on rEFIt bootloader. I tried several methods but, system never works.(When Using Include in-kernel firmware blobs in kernel binary.)

I can't found the result about macbook pro and radeon installing method on google.

2. I ignore 'Include in-kernel firmware blobs in kernel binary' option and compile X. But, X window doesnt work. Error message is no screens found.(Maybe, I have to resolve problem 1 before install X.) And, I install KDE. KDE also doesn't work.

Question1. Is there any good page(Like, step-by-step page) about Installing KDE on macbook pro?(with Radeon Macbook pro)

Question2. Can I install X without 'Include in-kernel firmware blobs in kernel binary' compiled kernel?

Question3. If Q2 is possible, Then How can I install X?

Thank you very much for reading my topic.
