Hi

Yesterday I have had a major upgrade on my gentoo.

I installed EFL 1.8.5 and switched from the old libraries to this. + Enlightenment 0.17.6

now my Terminology is giving segfaults and my /var/log/messages is the only place with an error message.

message is:
terminology[***] segfault at ....... ip ...... sp .... error 4 in libc-2.17.so[...........]

Hello,

Try to check the libraries:
Code:
emerge -av @preserved-rebuild
revdep-rebuild -i

I'm having the same problem. It seems the issue is it's relation to glibc, I'll let you know if downgrading glibc fixes it.

OOPS, we won't be downgrading glibc, uh, I guess we just have to wait for someone to fix Terminology. Ugh

Compile dev-libs/efl without the pixman USE flag.
Please open a request on gentoo's bugzilla to get rid of that use flag on that ebuild.
As upstream, I can tell you that this code (with --enable-pixman) is buggy and will probably get removed soon rather than being fixed.
