I was laughing at "Generalissimo Francisco Wildhorse", but I guess I took too long to press "Submit".

He did it because he knew it was for the best. If you look at the opposition it seems that the whole of the US turn utilitarian!

100 dead protesters in Ukraine. A demonstrator had his mouth sewn shut by the European Stasi. Another victim was made to sit on fireworks by the police. wildhorse's main love interest, Vlad the KGBer, won't be happy until the return of the Soviet Union and the Cold War.

LOL Europe.

The classic Nazi argument "if you're not with us you are a commie". Great!

I wonder if the Russian tanks are going to be "invited" to Ukraine?

I remember them being "invited" to Prague in the Spring of '68.

They were "invited" to Georgia more recently.

This time, they weren't proactive enough. The world's attention is already focused there, and they've lost the initiative to frame what's going on. They've been cockblocked, just like Obama got cockblocked on his WMDs in Syria, although he wasn't smart enough not to try it anyway.

Also, the rebels chose this time (during the Olympics) to act out specifically to minimize the possibility of Russian intervention. Putin is personally very concerned with using this opportunity to restore Russia's status on the world stage. Hosting an Olympics while invading a former satellite state and crushing rebellion wouldn't look very good.

Plus it would look bad while the Russians were hosting the Olympics.

It would be if Hitler had invaded Poland during the Olympics.

Putin is not a complete idiot like Oblabla. As long as US American cocks stay out, things will eventually be worked out.

Well, I did hear that the Euroführer Merkel had decided to have a meeting about the situation in Ukraine, with other European sub-Führers, and send a strongly-worded letter or something. So at least that's something.

So, what do you call your leader in Spanish, el heffe or something.

The meeting starts with smalltalk. Guantánamo, Oblabla's addiction to cigarettes – all in English. He will be pissed. Then the discussion begins in German and Russian. Merkel speaks Russian, Putin speaks German. So does the Ukrainian delegation. Oblabla hears everything and understands nothing. :)
