|
|
I'm trying to set up a simple container. I emerged virt-manager and created an application container for /bin/sh. When I start the container I see is a sh prompt, but the keyboard doesn't work. I also tried setting up a stage3 gentoo container (OS) and I get the same: gentoo boots correctly, I see the openrc messages and arrive at the login prompt, but I can't enter my login. Keyboard doesn't work.
Do I need to do something to enable input in the virt-manager window? Qemu/kvm VMs work fine.
(edit) I launched virt-manager with -debug and I get this when I push a key:
Code: | 2014-01-27 11:09:34,973 (serialcon:179): Error sending stream data
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/serialcon.py", line 177, in _event_on_stream
done = self.stream.send(self.terminalToStream)
File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/libvirt.py", line 4877, in send
if ret == -1: raise libvirtError ('virStreamSend() failed')
libvirtError: virStreamSend() failed

Any solution? Google doesn't show anyone else with this problem =/
(edit) Turns out there is a bug with libvirt-python. Solved in IRC. I'll file a bug.
