Hi all,

I'm doing a fresh install of gentoo on a macmini of late 2005.
Now I've got everything workinng, but xorg.

When I issue startx I log into xfce4 alright. But after a few minutes of using it, invariably xorg crashes. The screen goes blank with the led going from green to range, and I can't switch to a tty.
The only thing I can do is connecting with ssh from an other machine.

Kernel used : gentoo-ppc-3.10.25
Graphic card : vga compatible controller : amd nee Ati r280 [radeon 9200] (rev01)

/etc/X11/xorg.comf.d is empty.
Trying to generate the config file with X -c doesn't work, giving me a segmentation fault.

The part with the errors in Xorg.0.log (there are no errors higher up in the file):

Well to give some more detls, I tried with the gentoo kernels 3.11.0 and 3.13.0, without any luck.
Always the same EQ overflowing.

Should I try with anther version of Xorg, even though it seems to be a bug in the radeon driver ?
