PostPosted: Tue Jan 21, 2014 1:18 pm    Post subject: xorg segfault Reply with quote

Well, xorg has been segfaulting (twice in two days). It only seems to happen when I'm running vmd (I think). It's also notable that I've just got a new monitor, so edited my xorg.conf quite recently.

Oh yes, and gdm has been weird (displays a blank screen and then when you leave it for a while it displays a blue screen with the time on it [in white]). I've been ignoring this gdm problem for months now (I'm not that bothered by it - I just run startx from a terminal).

If anybody could help with the segfault it would be appreciated.

The useful information is below:
