Hello!
I was using gentoo and funtoo for years and I was installing the system many times. Now I'm facing a problem, where I've got new laptop and I cannot proceed with the installation
First of all, funtoo is installable from sysrescuecd:
installation process: http://www.funtoo.org/Funtoo_Linux_Installation
UEFI installation notes: http://www.funtoo.org/UEFI_Install_Guide
After booting the sysrescuecd from pendrive - and choosing "default configuration", my screen blinks and is black forever. It is possible to boot sysescuecd choosing the option "disable Kernel-Mode Settings".
So I've installed the system and after rebooting the laptop, grub appears and I can choose what I want to boot - so it seems, like grub with UEFI works so far.
The problem is, that if I choose kernel to boot, after pressing enter - my screen is black again - and I cannot do nothing.
I would be very thankful for any help with this issue
Here are some informations about my system - maybe it will help with something:
/boot/grub/grub.cfg: http://bpaste.net/show/166964
/etc/fstab: http://bpaste.net/show/166968
ls /boot: http://bpaste.net/show/166966
lspci: http://bpaste.net/show/166967
Thank you! |
