Hello everyone! When I install vmware and oracle virtualbox, and I use following instructions to add service default:
Code:

sudo rc-update add vmware default
sudo rc-update add vboxdrv default

But I reboot my computer, they do not work. I must run:

Code:

sudo /etc/init.d/vmware start
sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv start

Then I can use vmware and virtualbox. And I install some software without emerge, they all can add the default service, but they cann't start when I open my computer. I install ssh through emerge. It can start.

This is my runlevel:
Code:

beyond@beyond ~ $ ls /etc/runlevels/default/
NetworkManager    local     syslog-ng                vboxweb-service
consolekit        netmount  vboxautostart-service    vmware
cronie            sshd      vboxballoonctrl-service  vmware-workstation-server
iNodeAuthService  swap      vboxdrv                  wicd

swap ,vmware and vboxdrv don't start!!! It drives me crazy!!! I must run /etc/init.d/vmware start everytime when I open my computer. Please help me!

I have solved it. The problem is the init script. You must modificate the /etc/init.d/vmware as the format of gentoo. It refer to:https://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?style=printable&part=2&chap=4
