The Intel iwl4965 ucode has gone from portage; anyone know what (if anything)
has replaced it? Is it even necessary any more?
Thanks - Will

It's in the linux-firmware package, so you just need to merge that. (If you want to avoid installing the firmware for all the other devices included in linux-firmware, you could follow the procedure given in How to install the linux-firmware package in Gentoo.) _________________ Clevo W230SS: amd64, VIDEO_CARDS="intel modesetting nvidia".
